she hides behind this piece of card,
masking the confusion she expresses.
on that piece of card, you see
shows everything to do with joy and glee.

the glitter shimmers in the moonlit sky,
reflecting the barely visible light that comes by,
accentuating the the joyous shades of colour;
yellow; red; green; gold and silver.

in her true quality, happiness is nonexistent.
though one may rightfully percieve her as just different.
she shuns away the ones she loves.
to keep them from knowing her other half
